Founded in 1851 in Saumur by Etienne Bouvet and his wife Céleste Ladubay, Biuvet Ladubay is the 1st producer of Méthod Traditionelle Sparkling Wines in Saumur and France's most awarded (beyond the Champagne region) for the quality of its Cuvées. Currently run by the fourth generation of Monmousseau family, Bouvet Ladubay is exported to 45 countries. Bouvet Ladubay sources its grapes from 90 growers around Saumur and the Loire Valley area, all procurements being under sustainable viticulture. Made predominantly from Chenin and focusing on Saumur and Crémant de Loire AOP, the wines from Bouvet Laubay are known for their consistency, elegance and purity. Bouvet Ladubay is also a pioneer in wine tourism for over 30 years, opening doors of its century-old cellars and its Contemporary Art Center.
