The history of Poderi Luigi Einaudi dates back to 1897.
Since then, the Poderi family have drawn on their passion for the region creating extremely elegant wines, typical of the territory.
Today, at the helm is Matteo Sardagna, nephew of Luigi, Steiner educated with a degree in architecture. Passionate about art history, Matteo has absorbed the values, passions and traditions of the family: an important legacy that he is committed to enhancing, tackling the challenges of globalization and transforming Luigi Einuadi Poderi into a world recognized brand. Matteo's investments give the farms a profile of excellent Barolo wine that includes a doubling of square footage of cellar, acquisitions of rooms, introduction of both traditional and avant-garde cement, soft pumping over, elimination of barrique and use of Grenier wood.
The Relais B&B offers guests for memorable stays with elegant wines and a backdrop of countryside not soon forgotten.
