The NIKKA Limited Whisky

The Limited is crafted in limited quantities and is a collaborative whisky by the former Chief Blender and the current Chief Blender.  Among its most unique components is the Mizunara new oak cask malt — unlike American oak, it surprises with a refreshing
note reminiscent of green bamboo.  Also notable is a Yoichi malt with an unexpectedly tropical fruit aroma, and an entirely new grain whisky.  With layered complexity from a wide variety of whiskies, the result remains remarkably smooth.  Peaty notes reminiscent of sea breeze, sweet aroma like caramelized Crème brulée. Pleasant harmony of deep oak note of sesame seeds and refreshing notes of green bamboo.  A combination of fruity sweetness and bitterness like dark chocolate, layered by woody nuances of oak, creating a soft and rich flavour.  Long-lasting pleasant aftertaste, mellow richness of peat and sweetness reminiscent of dried fruit.
